Corporate Case Study

Craig, the new director of a division of a large international company, arrived to find communications problems, low morale, and confusion about where the organization was headed.

In our first interview, we discussed the results of Craig’s early analysis of his new division and his dream of the kind of organization he wanted to develop. After several such sessions, we we developed following action plan with Craig:

  • Individual executive coaching for Craig.
  • A DIALOG assessment to provide a baseline of where the organization stood on 7 major elements.
  • An Executive Leadership program for Craig and the top management team.
  • A Leadership Development program for the units first line supervisors.
  • A Leadership Development program for key exempt level staff members.
  • A follow-up DIALOG program to follow one-year after the initial assessment

The initial DIALOG assessment confirmed Craig’s original conclusions. Indeed, the organization had significant communication and management issues. the bridge, ltd tallied the results of the survey and presented the results to all units in the division. Individual managers in the division then worked with their respective departments to prepare goals and action plans to support the division’s goals. The Leadership programs gave participants a chance to align their goals and to develop individual action plans.

The final DIALOG survey is pending, but initial results indicate the organization’s performance has improved significantly.
